Incentives and District Bucks Reimbursement Program

The District 50 Incentive Program is designed to reward you and your club for delivering a high-quality club experience. Have fun, reach your goals, and earn rewards along the way! If you have questions about a specific incentive, please contact the responsible Trio member listed at the bottom of that incentive.

How District Bucks Work

District Bucks can be used in two ways:

Option 1: Conference Registration (Discount Code Method)

Use the steps above to receive a conference discount code. This method replaces reimbursement for Spring Conference registration only.

Option 2: Reimbursement for Approved Purchases

Follow the reimbursement process below for approved club-related purchases.

District Bucks are earned by completing the tasks outlined in each incentive. These incentives may change with each Toastmaster year. District Bucks may be used either through conference discount codes or through reimbursement for approved club-related purchases.

Here’s how it works:

Important: Your club must have sufficient District Bucks before making a purchase in order to be reimbursed.

Reimbursement Examples

Example 1

Club XYZ needs meeting supplies. The Club Treasurer purchases the items from the Toastmasters International Store using the club bank account. The Treasurer submits a Voucher for Reimbursement along with a detailed receipt (including taxes and shipping) to finance@d50tm.org.
Once approved, the Finance Manager mails a reimbursement check to the Treasurer. The reimbursed amount is deducted from the club’s District Bucks balance.

Example 2

Club ABC transitions from online to hybrid meetings and needs a webcam and speaker. The SAA purchases both items online. The SAA requests Concur access from the Finance Manager, submits the expense and detailed receipts through Concur, and receives reimbursement via direct deposit.
The reimbursed amount is deducted from Club ABC’s District Bucks account.

Example 3

Club LMN registers for a District 50 event. The Treasurer pays the $140 registration fee personally and submits the expense through Concur.
If the club only has $100 in District Bucks, the Finance Manager will approve reimbursement for $100, leaving a $0 balance in the club’s account.
