District Bucks, explained simply
Your club does good work. The district helps pay for it.
In one sentence: District Bucks are reward money your club earns. You can use that money for club supplies or District 50 event tickets. The money is paid back to you after you turn in a receipt.

Part 1. Earn District Bucks
First your club officers gets it started. Then let District 50 Finance Manager know. Then the district adds money to your club’s balance.

This is a short written guide. It tells you the rules for each reward and what proof to save, like a photo or a receipt.

Do the activity with your club.
Finish every item on the rules list before you send anything in.

Tell the district you finished.
Click the yellow button. A form will open in a new window. Fill in the boxes. Attach your proof. Press Submit.

Wait up to one week.
Someone on the district team checks your form. If it is approved, the money shows up on the scoreboard.

Part 2. Spend District Bucks
The district does not hand you cash at a meeting. You buy the item first (or pay the event fee), then the district pays you back. That payback goes to your bank by direct deposit.
Look at your club balance first. Only spend what is already on the scoreboard. If you spend more than your club has, you only get paid back up to the balance.

Get a Concur account if you do not have one.
Concur is the district’s money system. Think of it as the official mailbox for receipts. New accounts can take up to two weeks.

Look at your club’s balance again.
Write down the dollar amount before you buy anything.

Buy the club item and keep the receipt.
Save a paper copy or a clear photo of the receipt. You will upload that later.

Log in to Concur and start an expense report.
On that report, type your club name, club number, and the dollar amount you want paid back. Attach the receipt. Press Submit.

Wait for the Finance Manager to say yes.
If it is approved, the money is deposited in the bank. That same amount is then taken off your club’s District Bucks balance.

- Items from the Toastmasters International Store
- Meeting gear such as a webcam, microphone, speaker, or banner stand
- Tickets to District 50 events, like Fall or Spring Conference
No:
- Alcohol
- Gift cards
- Personal items or clothing
- Toastmasters logo items bought anywhere except the official Toastmasters store

Three plain examples
Meeting supplies
The Treasurer buys gavel and timer supplies from the Toastmasters store with the club card. Then the Treasurer opens Concur, starts a report, and uploads the store receipt. After approval, the money comes back by direct deposit.
Camera and speaker for hybrid meetings
The Sergeant at Arms buys a webcam and speaker online. If they do not have Concur yet, they click “Ask for a Concur account” first. After the account is ready, they send in the receipt through Concur.
Conference ticket
The Treasurer pays $140 for a District 50 event. The club only has $100 in District Bucks. The district pays back $100. The club balance then goes to $0. The extra $40 is not paid back from District Bucks.

What are District Bucks?
Reward money the district tracks for your club. You earn it by finishing incentives. You spend it on club needs.
Why does this program exist?
To thank clubs that run strong meetings, grow, host open houses, and show up at district events.
Do I need to be good with computers?
No. You only need to click the yellow buttons on this page, fill in a short form, and upload a photo of a receipt. If a page looks confusing, stop and email store@d50tm.org.
What is Concur?
It is the district’s official system for paying people back. You cannot get District Bucks money without sending the receipt through Concur.
How long does a new Concur account take?
Up to two weeks after you send the request form.
Do District Bucks expire?
Yes. They end with the Toastmasters year. They do not roll into the next year. Use them before June 30.
