Why do you Toastmaster? The District 50 Division and Area Directors met on Saturday 24th and it was a packed day with a District Executive Council meeting and in person training. The Division and Area Director team were surprised to meet Distinguished Toastmaster and Past International President, Pauline Shirley. Pauline enchanted the room with her stories, words of encouragement and so much more. Pauline was the second ever woman to lead as the International President, and she is a proud District 50 member. Pauline was instrumental in how we got our District number of “50” after we split from District 25. She is the second ever woman to lead at the level of International President. The leadership team was energized, inspired, and are ready to lead with and for our members, clubs, and District this year. The leadership team is so proud of everyone!
RISEing with you, Kimberly Ross, DTM District 50 District Director
