WHERE LEADERS ARE MADE
The club writes a plan. Then it works the plan. That is how a club becomes Distinguished.
Starting 2025-2026, a club must submit the Club Success Plan by September 30 to be eligible for Distinguished recognition. Fees and membership rules still apply. Check toastmasters.org if the year changes.
Distinguished: 5 goals, and 20 members or net growth of 3.
Select Distinguished: 7 goals, and 20 members or net growth of 5.
President’s Distinguished: 9 goals and 20 members.
Smedley Distinguished: 10 goals and 25 members.
Transfer members do not count toward that total.
Education: Level 1, Level 2, more Level 2, Level 3, then two higher awards (Level 4, path complete, or DTM).
Membership: four new, dual, or reinstated members, then four more.
Training: four officers trained in June–August, then four officers trained in December–February.
Admin: dues renewal and officer list turned in on time.
