How many members are there in the DEC Meeting?
The District 50 DEC consists of 47 members.

What is the difference between DEC and the District Council?
District Executive Committee (DEC) members: District Director, Program Quality Director, Club Growth Director, Immediate Past District Director, Division Directors, Area Directors, and key managers such as Administration, Finance, Public Relations Managers.

The District Council (DC) members: The District Council combines the Club Presidents of all member clubs in good standing and Club Vice Presidents Education (VPEs) of all member clubs in good standing along with the District Executive Council.

What are the six steps to a motion?
1. Member attains proper recognition and makes a motion.
2. Another member seconds the motion.
3. Chair restates the motion.
4. Discussion/debate – no one speaks twice before everyone who desires speaks once; alternate pro and con.
5. Vote.
6. Chair announces the results of the vote.
