Kimberly Ross, DTM

District
Director

Kimberly Ross currently is serving as District 50s Program Quality Director. She has been a Toastmaster member since 2018 and has held all club offices as well as the D50 Chief of Staff to the District Director (21 – 22) and Plains Division Director (22 – 23). Kim has a passion for people, cross collaboration with others as well as a succinct communication style. Goals for the 2024-25 TM year are to bring past members back to Toastmasters, encourage our members to take advantage of all that District 50 and Toastmasters has to offer in and outside of the club and continue so many of the existing areas that District 50 excels. Our District does so many things right, our members should be proud and lean into their talents and how they can help us continue to rise and sparkle in the Toastmaster world as well as spread this with others. Leading as a Division Director really was special for her and she can’t wait to work with our Division, and Area Directors to connect with our clubs and members, again. She is excited to foster and fuel existing and new relationships in this coming year. Kim is thrilled to see what can be accomplished when we all come together for a common goal and have fun along our journey, together!  

Denise Castille, DTM

Director

Denise, a Toastmaster since January 2019, is a small business owner, nonprofit founder, executive director, and author. Beyond her current role as Club Growth Director, Denise brings a wealth of experience in fostering growth and communication skills. Her commitment to personal and professional development shines through in every area of her life. With a dynamic background spanning business, nonprofits, and literary pursuits, Denise contributes meaningfully to Toastmasters and the community.

Rhonda Bunte, DTM

Club Growth Director

Rhonda Bunte, DTM, is District 50 (D50) Metro Division Director where she coaches area directors to help clubs and members. She also serves as a new club sponsor and club coach. As Club Coach Chair 2022-2023, she partnered experienced Toastmasters with challenged clubs. As D50 Chief Judge, 2021-2022, she trained members as judges and chief judges to judge contests and maintain contest integrity. She served as Area 51 Director 2020-2021.
Ms. Bunte received Excellence Awards for her services as Club Coach Chair and Chief Judge and an Award for Immediate Past President January through June 2019. She was a finalist in 2019 District Evaluation Contest. She has held numerous club officer positions since 2002.

Shane Gilmore, EH5

Club Growth Director

Shane has a passion for people and desires to see individuals grow to their fullest potential. Shane always works to foster a growth environment where others can find their own brilliance.

Shane joined Toastmasters in 2018. His home club is Unique Toastmasters, but he is also a member of two other clubs. He has been president of multiple clubs and served as Area Director for two years in a row.

Shane is a Federal Government employee but is also involved in numerous community organizations. An East Coast native, Shane now resides in Frisco, Texas, with his wife and has four adult children.

Shane desires to see “District 50 Thrive” in 2024-2025!

Herb , a Toastmaster since February 2021, is a business owner, investor, and a student of finance. Beyond his current role as Finance Manager of District 50, Herb brings a wealth of experience in people skills. His commitment to personal and professional development shines through in every area of his life. With a dynamic background spanning business, people skills, and leading teams Herb contributes meaningfully to Toastmasters and the community.

Tommy Kenyon, VC4

Frontier Division Director

Tommy Kenyon is an accomplished Toastmaster, holding various leadership positions including Club President, VP Education, VP Membership, VP Public Relations, and Sergeant at Arms. Recognized with honors like the Spirit of Toastmasters, Tommy’s experience in marketing for a TV network translates seamlessly into his role as a district leader. With a background in finance and a talent for developing procedures, Tommy’s leadership style emphasizes support over control. Eager to showcase his potential at the next level, Tommy aims to spread the Toastmasters message, foster connections, and inspire confidence in leaders.

Daniel Foyt, EH2

Metro Division Director

Daniel joined Toastmasters at the urging of a friend when he had to deliver a toast at his daughter’s wedding.  He continues to find speaking challenges to conquer.  He completed the Presentation Mastery Pathway and has begun his second Pathway.  He serves as an Area Director and enjoys visiting clubs outside his home club.  He is no stranger to Speech contests, having served as a Judge, Contest Master, Contest Chair and Contestant.  He has served as President and VP Education for his home-club, Hillcrest Toastmasters.  Professionally he has worked behind the scenes on numerous televised productions.  He is a world traveler but finds more enjoyment hearing about other’s travels.  He is a husband, father and grandfather.  He has been appointed as an election judge by Dallas County, serves on community advisory boards and enjoys long bike rides and hiking.

Cle Kimble, MS3

Plains Division Director

Cle Kimble is a member of Garland Toastmasters, the club’s treasurer, and Area 44 Director. Ms. Kimble prides herself in Toastmaster’s Core Values of Integrity, Respect, Service, and Excellence. As Division Director, Cle will ensure Toastmasters’ core values are understood and demonstrated throughout the Division. Ms. Kimble’s upbeat, energetic, and committed attitude to District 50 is a valuable resource for leaders within the organization.

Roderick Goudy, DTM

Southern Division Director

Roderick Goudy, a U.S. Army veteran who serves as an Assistant Principal in the Dallas Independent School District, brings over 17 years of educational and leadership experience. As a Distinguished Toastmaster, he excels in oratory, securing victories in District 50’s International and Humorous Speech categories in 2019 with a repeat win in the Humorous Speech category in 2023. As a Dallas ISD Talk It Up club member, Roderick remains committed to honing his leadership and public speaking skills. He is also a father, grandfather, and husband who finds joy in simple pleasures – the joy of laughter, relaxing, and serving others.

David Haney, EH1

Town North Division Director

David’s journey with Toastmasters started in 2004 by joining MetroCrest Toastmasters to get over his fear of speaking in public for business and Chamber of Commerce events.  After 3 ½ years with the club, completing his CTM and holding a few club officer roles, Toastmasters had helped his work communication skills so much that a promotion took him into overseas work, and he would stay there until rejoining MetroCrest some 5 years ago.  Since then David has held several officer roles at MetroCrest including President and has begun participating in D50 events over the last year.

He is jumping into the Division role and is looking for Area Directors to join him.  He would like to visit clubs in each Area this year with these Area Directors in keeping the existing momentum of Town North rolling while growing the business-related clubs in the Division.  Come be supported by David as an Area Director in Town North and grow District 50!
